Please join us in celebrating the award of a grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation to Mayflower for the THIRD year in a row! We are honored to be among the 145 organizations in Wisconsin, and 48 in Brown County, that the Packers chose and honored for outstanding efforts and services performed in their organizations and in their communities.
Two Mayflower Nursery School board members accepted the grant Tuesday morning at Lambeau Field and were not only honored but humbled to be among those in attendance. Mark Murphy, Packers CEO, shared that the day is one of his most favorite of the year awarding $450,000 this year to organizations around the state. Of those, Mayflower was chosen because of the way we put our mission into action at school and in our community, because of the way that we believe in early childhood education, and most importantly, because we believe every one of our children at Mayflower are valuable.
This year we applied for funds to continue to promote healthy habits with our students. We will be using our grant funds to purchase gross motor equipment for our students to use indoors and also in our outdoor playspace.
Please visit the Green Bay Packers Foundation webpage for the official press release and to see all of the organizations who were honored.
Mayflower Nursery School nurtures young children in an atmosphere of acceptance and caring, offering a variety of learning experiences for students to explore their world so that each child develops self-esteem, a sense of belonging and a love of learning.
